Midsummer Celebration
Date: 23 June
Time: 11.00 am-5.00 pm
You are very welcome to celebrate a typical Swedish Midsummer with us in Uppsala following the conference. The celebrations starts at 11.00 from the city center (hotels) with bus to “Gamla Uppsala” (the Old Uppsala) with its Viking graves and traditional houses. We start with a typical Midsummer lunch at Odinsborg, followed by a walk to Disagården, where we will have the opportunity to dance around the Maypole and visit old Swedish houses. A walk back by the Viking graves to the bus and possibly a visit to the museum. The program will end at around 17.
This is an add-on with limited number of seats on a first-come-first serve basis. The cost per person is SEK 680 (excl. 25% VAT), children 0 – 6 free and children 7 – 12 half-price.
