Invitation to Cerebral Vascular Biology (CVB 2023)

Cerebral Vascular Biology, CVB 2023 meeting will be a key scientific and networking event for researchers from around the world to discuss their innovative research on CNS barriers, particularly the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier (BCSFB). CVB is held once every two years and it has always been one of the most exciting and important meetings in the cerebrovascular biology field since it began in 1992. The last three conferences took place in Paris, France (2015); Melbourne, Australia (2017); and Miami, Florida (2019).

The CVB conference will offer an exclusive opportunity for leading scientists from academia and industry to come together and exchange expertise and opinions in the areas of CNS barriers structure, development, the role of brain barriers in the etiology and pathology of neurological diseases, therapeutic strategies to reverse these diseases by targeting the BBB and BCSFB as well as small and large drug transport and delivery across the barriers. We have planned what we consider a truly exciting meeting that will attract delegates with a special interest in vascular biology, pharmacology, neuroscience, and pharmaceutical science; all with the ultimate aim of promoting the brain barriers as key in maintaining brain homeostasis and contributing to disease processes. Active participation of patient organizations and Ph.D. students is strongly encouraged.

You are especially welcome to Uppsala in the early summer time, to enjoy not only a valuable scientific program but also great nature and the closeness to the Midsummer season!
